Introduction
With funding from the Union of British Columbia Municipalities (UBCM), the Squamish-Lillooet Regional District (SLRD) is working with Butterfly Effect Communications to undertake the development of an Emergency Communications/ Public Notification Plan to guide our emergency public notification process.
Community input is an important aspect of developing this plan.
Please take a moment to complete our brief, anonymous survey, which takes an estimated 10 minutes to complete. The information provided will help us build our plan that will ensure we are communicating efficiently, effectively and promptly before, during and after an emergency.
The survey is open until midnight on June 4, 2025.
This project is funded by a grant from UBCM’s Community Emergency Preparedness Fund (CEPF) – Public Notification and Evacuation Route Planning Stream. The SLRD gratefully acknowledges this support.
